If they’re going to get rid of social security and Medicare, then I want a refund of all the money I’ve paid into that. 🙄

We were just told that a RIF is coming, but that they literally have no answers for us. Someone asked, but people who were extended offers are still going to be hired? Yes. But people who have jobs might get fired? Also yes.

I am so over this bullshit. Why the fuck do I need to respond to this email on a weekly basis? This makes me so upset. It’s not the idea of telling someone my job, but the idea that I am being treated like a child and asked to send a bullet list of what I am doing. So condescending, so patronizing.

And this was my response to the silly “what did you do” email. This email upset my boss and made several of my coworkers spiral. I did my job, jackass, that’s what I did all week. I did my best to keep suicidal veterans alive. What did you do?

I’m figuring out ways to support those around me. One idea is to put these stickers up at work. I have a federal job and we’re being told that we can’t fly a pride flag during pride month. If 250 stickers magically appear on campus, what then?
