On this day in 1982, Aston Villa beat Bayern Munich in the European Cup Final.
But after just 10 mins, sub keeper Nigel Spink had to come on for the injured Jimmy Rimmer, having only played one previous game in the first team.

Went to a preview of 'A Complete Unknown' last week. Billed as the story of Dylan's transition from folk troubadour to electric rock icon, it's really a brilliant exploration of how he treated those who most helped shape him as he rose to fame - Pete Seeger, Suze Rotolo and Joan Baez.

I'm not sure a single photo could better convey a century of progress in air power. A single RCAF C-17 carries 7 WW1 aircraft across the Atlantic Ocean for the 2017 Vimy Ridge centenary. Remarkably, 4 Nieuport 11s along with 2 Sopwith Pups, and an SE5a fit in the belly of the C-17.
