As with professional apologists, the point isn’t really the content of the argument so much as the reassurance that Smart People endorse whatever cluster of irritable mental gestures pass as the group’s current ideology. You don’t need to understand the reasoning, but don’t worry, it’s out there.

There’s a whole batch of these right-wing pseudointellectual grifters whose primary function is performing a stupid person’s idea of a smart person, with the content of that performance being sort of secondary.
Yarvin (and Peterson) are idiots that sound smart but aren’t. They say something like “the epistemology of derivative masculinity is negated by the hegemony of tautological feminism” and chuds assume they can’t understand it because it’s soooo intellectual and don’t realize it’s nonsensical babbling
