You need to know it's not "crazy" for experiences you endured decades ago to still affect you so much that you need to work a recovery today. The passage of time doesn't heal anything on its own.

If anything, it deepens wounds that are not properly understood or acknowledged.

The RIAA was suing teenagers. We had to sit through ⬇️ this shit anytime we wanted to watch a DVD. A whole generation shamed for using Limewire and torrents. Only for these silicone valley assholes to now find copyright infringement a necessary evil they shouldn’t have to answer for

a bksy dev following the Heritage Foundation would be an unpleasant surprise if you didn't know this place was created by and for libertarian crypto bros, and all the good things about it are an unintended consequence they have been trying to "fix" for the last year

In an old ad for board game Scattergories in Spain a player was shown flouncing out while anothet said “OK, we’ll accept ‘octopus’ as a pet”.
“Aceptamos pulpo” has now entered the language in the meaning of “that’s a bit of a stretch but let’s go with it just for the sake of argument”.

Everyone needs to know that Dolly Parton responded to a climate disaster in her community with a temporary universal basic income for everyone who lost their homes.

ME/CFS is a devastating condition that has long been denied, dismissed, psychologised and underdiagnosed. Research is at last starting to catch up with it, with glimmers of hope for those who have been left untreated for so long.

Hard to imagine now but the #Brighton Grand Hotel must have looked like a skyscraper when it was first built in 1864. Designed by John Whichcord Jr. it towered over the rest of the seafront

Also journalists don't know the difference between a paramotor and a paraglider.

Hint: one has a motor and the other glides.

For #WorldOctopusDay we'd like to share with you this rare octopus skeleton that was found at the Palace.
An empty glass display box that, crucially, contains no bones.
