Lara's mother was a pedigree who escaped & came back pregnant. The owner couldn't sell the pups as pure breed so gave them away. Lara was very boisterous but that was mainly bc my elderly mum-in-law wasn't able to give her all the exercise she needed. With us she was a sweet little thing.

Mum-in-law adopted her from an unwanted litter offered by a local vet (see pic) & had her for 11 years. Lara's mother was an Italian greyhound & her father was something smaller, unidentified but fast and/or handsome enough to catch an Italian greyhound.

Lovely. She looks so much like Lara, originally my mum-in-law's dog. We adopted her on mum-in-law's death in 2017 & had her for 2.5 years.

In an old ad for board game Scattergories in Spain a player was shown flouncing out while anothet said “OK, we’ll accept ‘octopus’ as a pet”.
“Aceptamos pulpo” has now entered the language in the meaning of “that’s a bit of a stretch but let’s go with it just for the sake of argument”.
