Want to co-sign this as someone who works in philanthropy. Conservative donors and foundations have been willing to invest huge sums for general support, correctly assuming that it would produce long-term gains. The liberal approach to philanthropy has been pretty much the exact opposite.

To meet climate goals, we need to produce less fossil fuel.
The Production Gap Report, produced by a @sei.org-led consortium, measures the gap between what governments plan to produce & what’s compatible with limiting global warming to 1.5°C.

I’ve trained with an Olympic gold medalist and a World Indoor Champs silver medalist (track and field). I was high school top 10 in New England good, good enough to run in the ACC. They were…different.

You sort of have to admire the person wrecking you when they are that good.

I don’t use a weighted vest for training. I just let myself get out of shape and about 10lbs above race weight in my offseason.

Voila! Human weighted vest for most of the preseason.

Just dropped our oldest off at Syracuse for her freshman year a week ago. I love she is doing great and we will share an Alma mater. And I miss her and when she calls or texts it makes my day.
