Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

sterker nog: er waren helemaal geen 'wegen' die geblokkeerd kon worden door sneeuw. Er was een soort van route en af en toe wat eeuwenoude uitgehakte trappen. Je kon hier maar op een manier komen en dat was te voet. Zelfs ezels trokken het niet meer.

Wij zaten ook ooit op 4,5 km hoogte bij Annapurna Base Camp in april toen er onverwacht nog een meter sneeuw viel terwijl we boven waren. www.nu.nl/buitenland/6... maar omdat wij géén watjes zijn liepen we gewoon weer naar beneden. In één dag van 4,5 naar 2,5 km waar het weer lekker warm was.

Dat is inderdaad een meer constructieve oplossing. In combinatie met op alle wegen trajectcontrole met als max 60 km/h want lullig voor die bomen als er de hele tijd iemand tegenaan crashed.

Vijfentwintig meteorologische ballonnen zijn zaterdagnacht vanuit Wit-Rusland het Litouwse luchtruim binnengevlogen.

13 tot 14 ballonnen werden gespot boven Vilnius en de omliggende regio, waaronder twee boven de luchthaven van Vilnius.

Ook handig voor de eigen medewerkers van de gemeente. Vorig jaar zat hier de gemeentelijke grasmaaier op het hondenpoepveldje te schijten zonder enige gene en zonder zijn reet af te vegen. Gewoon hup broek aan en verder op de grasmaaier.
