Any point at which I’m not buying it. As soon as the spell is broken. I DNFed a book my friends loved because my brain kept insisting that the existence of tea and a publishing industry were at odds with the medieval level the worldbuilding otherwise implied, and apparently that’s a deal breaker.

Spending time with my kids. Idk if we’re through the hard years, or they’re just on pause, but I’m finding 10 and 14 to be utterly delightful ages. Including the weeks where i feel like my main job as a parent is taxi.
