Murder is wrong. It was wrong that Charlie Kirk was murdered. It was wrong that the Hortmans were murdered. It's wrong that the US Gov murdered people in Caribbean whose names we don't know. Killing someone should only be an option if your life is in imminent danger and no non lethal way exists.

This is weird generalization. Some of these things are happening across the country not just in Red States. Loss is happening but so are gains. The entire economic structure of red states is mutating. Texas leads the country in wind power. South Carolina is the top auto exporter in the USA.
The reality of 21st century America is that GOP dominated red states are becoming a combination of loss of health care, loss of economic mobility, loss of freedoms, loss of democracy, loss of safety and protections, loss of empathy, loss of caring, and loss of well-being.

I live in near this intersection. The city crews are under pressure to do this or risk losing needed state funds. This is extortion by the state. DeSantis and his goons in the state legislature should be ashamed of themselves and if they won’t then we should shame them every day.
