I have never related to something harder than the person who made the TikTok about Gen Z having to have been more of an adult than the adults around them and when I think, “ahhhh it’s not that bad” I’m reminded by a 69 y/o having a tantrum, crying, and screaming at me that it is accurate.

For the past two months I’ve lived in my apartment, the in-unit washer has not worked. Not only have I put a maintenance ticket in- after a week of no action, I emailed for an update. I’m now 22 emails and 5 phone calls deep and it’s still broke. In short- Kansas is not a renter friendly state.

I'm not sure Americans understand the massive brain drain and global disadvantage the US will be at with the continuation of the "de-foreignation" (my term) of the U.S.

This might be too personal, but from 2021-late 2022 I really isolated myself from so many people. 2023 I sought help and in 2024 I’ve been trying to be around more. I made *a lot* of bad decisions and have a long way to go, but I’m proud of where I am now.
