New piece.

The data presented by @thejcpa.bsky.social and @counterhate.com about antisemitism on X is stark: it is being spread to hundreds of millions of people.

Not just antisemitism, but OVERT antisemitism. And that shift means far more than people realize. It won't be long before it leaves X.
Overt Anti-Jewish Hate is On the Verge of Going Mainstream
The combination of mainstreamed conspiracy theories and overt hate on X is close to transforming America's relationship with Jews.

No mainstream leaders, pundits, media, will treat her life as important as Kirk's.

None will see this shooting as dangerous as Kirk's.

None will value a brown woman as much as that white man.

This isn't just about Republicans. It's the values at the heart of leadership & institutions in America.

This is literally what Weiss and others in her universe see as intellectual diversity.

I kind of can’t believe this Bari Weiss quote is even real, and yet www.nytimes.com/2025/10/06/b...
“I know that there are some people in this room who don’t believe that my marriage should have been legal … and that’s ok. Because we’re all Americans who want lower taxes.”

We don't talk enough about anti-brown racism.

It is still framed as "immigration," "activists," "crime" etc, which further entrench the racist framing.

And now we are seeing how that plays out, with pundits crying over a white racist while hardly feeling the brown lives being destroyed every day.

Well, luckily Bluesky's reputation is intact

Wait were you gone?! What am I missing? I don't look at Bluesky as carefully for a few days and apparently I missed a lot! Glad that you're back regardless :)

We'll see what they say once one of them is threatened by the administration. They go with the wind (money, clicks, popularity), not with values.

But there are many who actually stick to their values, and it's worth investing in them than debating the men who go where the money takes them.

“I voted for none of this."

Prominent influencers, including Theo Von, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Schulz, are starting to distance themselves from the president they helped propel to the White House.

Coates’s line in his discussion with Klein that “sometimes we lose” really stuck with me.

Klein was talking electoral calculations. Coates was talking about those working for true liberation and equality.

To me, this is so much of the difference. Where are we actually trying to go? And how?

This is quite nutty framing until you realize that they mean elites, not, you know, Black people and those who can’t afford lawyers and people targeted by police and

If by some miracle Democrats are able to wrest power back from Republicans, they must know their immediate job will be to hold Republicans accountable and create ironclad laws to protect and FIX our broke democracy.

That’s step 1 of 1,000.

It was their job in 2021 also. And that’s why we’re here.

This also helps explain why in Israel the pro-hostage movement is largely anti-Netanyahu while in America it is pro-Netanyahu (or at least, all of his policies re Gaza).

There is a disinformation campaign targeting Jews & all Americans to convince us supporting hostages means supporting genocide.
eladn.bsky.social
This should be a truly massive scandal in the Jewish world. Obviously, many of us knew and assumed this was occurring, but the proof is now out there and it needs to be called out.

We have US-based influencers pretending to speak for themselves but actually working directly for the Israeli govt.

Actually I'll take it a step further and say he is threatening the ADL with an investigation if they don't change themselves inside and out in the same way he and Trump have been working on with the federal government.

The worst part is that the ADL is considered by many a Jewish organization and they make us all look terrible

@elonmusk
The ADL absolutely needs a major overhaul. It isn’t helping anyone, Jewish or otherwise!

Very clear implication here that Musk wants the ADL investigated by the FBI as a hate group. Considering who's in charge there, he may get his wish.

And for folding to authoritarians, in exchange for a false promise of Jewish safety, what does the ADL get in return?

Viciously attacked by the same people they cozied up to.

The ADL thought it could fall in line with Musk and it would stop his attacks on them. Instead, it just made them complicit, legitimized Musk, and ultimately didn’t actually change him at all.

This is how fascists work. Greenblatt tried being transactional: for fascists, it only goes one way.
