🇲🇾 On Sept 18, 2025, Malaysia Airlines made history with Flight MH2610, run entirely by women—from pilots to ground crew. While some still clutch their pearls over women in the cockpit, MAS proves daily: the sky’s the limit when women lead.

I get asked constantly -- from friends, family, random people I meet, from separate friends' parents in the last 24 hours -- how I report on politics, especially now, without giving in to despair and cynicism.

It's amazing how relevant "Deportee" remains 77 years after Woody Guthrie wrote it in response to a plane crash that killed 28 migrant farm workers being deported from California to Mexico. "You won't have a name when you ride the big airplane. All they will call you will be deportees."

Don’t use the words “good trouble” unless you have this kinda street cred.

Don’t fix your fingers to type the words. Don’t fix your mouth to say the words. You haven’t earned those words and you probably never will.
