And this intense focus and obsessive behaviors promoted by can trigger, reinforce, and worsen the symptoms of ED & BDD. These men need help

The Daughters of Penelope, with support from our sisters at Maids of Athena, successfully raised funds for childhood cancer yesterday. It took so much planning, volunteers, and donors to make this happen but I'm honored to be part of this cause. When women work together, we can accomplish so much 💛🏛️

Second, as someone who worked with DV survivors, am one, and wrote a book on abuse I’ll say this from my perspective:
There WILL be retaliation. Trump’s an abuser full stop. Maybe dark tetrad.

I also want to stress it is probably NOT your fault. The economy is atrocious. People are buying less. Market penetration is more difficult.
There’s so much that goes into indie game marketing. It’s a lot esp if you’re also trying to juggle actually making the gd game.

I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but to any indie devs feeling bad because their game didn't sell or wasn't played as much as you wanted:

I’ll be honest, “the government is shut down so we’re using private funds to pay the military” is the end of democracy, period, point blank. “The military is paid by an individual and all other government services are suspended” is… there’s no clean way back from it.
