Americans fought a revolution to break free from a king who trampled on our liberties. The indictment of Attorney General Tish James just 2 weeks after he demanded it, shows that Trump has seized the power to order the prosecution of anyone he wants, a power even King George III never had.

Shame on ABC, and seriously, if you're not appalled by this, please ask yourself if you really want to live in a country where media figures can be forced off the air by the government, because to me that sounds much more like Soviet Russia than any kind of America I've ever known.

Today on Juneteenth, I attended the rededication of the Bench by the Road in Nyack’s Memorial Park. Originally dedicated by the late Toni Morrison in 2015, the bench honors Cynthia Hesdra, a pioneering figure in Rockland’s Black history.

Unlike our current president, I actually know the meaning of Memorial Day, and it’s not an opportunity to rant about your political opponents. Grateful to the many veterans and community members who attended ceremonies in Rockland County. We always remember the fallen.

I was so impressed with this young man’s testimony at last night’s “Protecting the People” forum in Westchester hosted by NYS Attorney General Tish James with 5 other AGs from around the country. Please watch! He’s only 9 years old but tells the truth about how Trump’s cuts will hurt people.

I always love joining the India Cultural Society of Rockland for their annual Holi Celebration! Even the rain couldn’t keep a happy crowd from celebrating this colorful holiday. Happy Holi!

I've had many jobs in my life but I really will always treasure my time with Congresswoman Lowey as her Rockland County Campaign Coordinator in 2012 and as a district representative in her government office for a year following the election.
