Such a great point and this small miss of a detail would make the game distressing for me to play, seeing animated horses that were uncomfortable and unhappy.

Amtrak California is pretty useful if it goes where you need to go. Fresno to Emeryville for example was well used last time I rode it.

Of course what’s really disturbing is having to put an oxygen mask on a toddler while you’re monitoring their blood oxygen level. Though I promise, much less disturbing than not having an O2 mask in that situation.

Honestly, it’s even worse. A lot of talented progressive activists were looking for work in 2024 and didn’t get hired or even interviewed. People were hired for strategic work… in October. And the people keeping jobs are often absurdly well paid and with terrible incentives.

To be incredibly cynical about it, this defunds the hospitals rich people rely on when they are hurt on vacation. It’s not just going to impact poor people.

1. Civics is a graduation requirement in California and has been for decades.
2. I learned in civics that the Supreme Court and Congress keep the President in check and ensure he obeys the law.
3. I don’t know how you teach civics while the rule of law is being shredded before our eyes.
