Throwback Thursday post! ZOINKS! Back in 2022 my partner and I had a fun day of making a real Scooby-Doo sandwich! It was a lot of fun and something we wanted to try since we were kids, 10/10 will have to do this again!

Made some progress on repairing my vintage sewing table's leg. Lightly hammered the leg's base into place with some wood glue and clamped it secure while it dries. Thankful for my ridiculously long furniture clamp I've had for some time now. Makes repairs like these possible!

My partner made the best onion jam, and it has taken breakfasts to a whole new level of scrumptious! Pan toasted bread has been made even better 😋

Mold turned out really well! It's surprusingly soft still, which is good to wrap around. But I hope it won't warp once taped in place. One step closer to repairing my sewing table!

Thank god I have a local woodworkers supply shop near me. Every tip I see about repairing broken wood furniture says to use this molding kit, but it's not avaiable online anywhere but ebay! What happened, did they go outta business? Have to be sure to make this stuff last!

Got a library card today! If you have time and access I highly encourage getting one in you area. Not only does it help support them you'd be surprised what services you can access for free! My library has a craft lab for the community to use machines too big and expesive for most to have at home!

Another move, another breaking of the foot on my antique sewing table 🙃 I've done some studying this time and I think I can repair it better now. Fingers crossed this year it is restored for good.

Love this book, fun fact about the cover. This was a photo taken at a wedding he was asked to play in a band (hence the trumpet). While out having a doobie he saw a huge cluster of chicken of the woods mushrooms and trudged off. The photo is of his triumphant return to the venue.
