Starting in 2027 l personally will be putting the least amount of money I can into this economy. I’m giving myself 2.5 years to prepare economically.

An entire word
"Democratic messaging, Democratic leadership, and the economy" are all smoke and mirrors for I'm not voting for the party that votes for working people because Im ok hurting as long as minorities hurt more. And giving yourself a pass because you vote D still hurts Ds. There's your messaging problem

The majority of white America would rather eat shit covered glass than admit racism is why we are where we are.

"Behn’s 9-point loss is a 13-point shift toward Democrats in a little under a year. The fact that a rural Tennessee district ended up just a high-single-digits win for Republicans should be a five-alarm fire for the party ahead of the 2026 midterms."

Though I never considered myself racist, it didn't mean I understood racism. I began reading and will continue learning until my last breath. I recommend these books to white people I know or meet. It's a start.

You’d think someone writing their name on literally everything would be a huge red flag.

But apparently white Americans love that.
SCOOP: Sources tell me Donald Trump's name was added to the exterior of the US Institute of Peace building ahead of Thursday's peace agreement signing between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), which will be held inside the building. Confirming if it's been officially renamed.

This! This! This!
Every time one of you dumb bastards goes on this "Liz Cheney" tangent you just remind us all that Liz fucking Cheney -- a goblin, a ghoul, one of the worst fucking people in the world -- is still somehow a better human being than you.

Two people with one goal - upholding and preserving the Constitution. That was ALL Cheney was there for! ZERO concessions were made to her in the platform, she and Harris BOTH said they were in agreement on little else, but the country was more important than anything.

Voters did this. This has nothing to do with leadership. It never has. You play with the cards you are dealt. Our main problem is white supremacy and until that is dealt with the loop of this 2 year cycle won't stop.

FOR THE DINGLEBERRIES WHO WILL INEVITABLY BLAME THIS ON THE DEMS:
Two Hundred and fourteen (214) is not enough to extend.
You’ll have to break rank and actually blame a republican for this!
I’m so sorry.
BREAKING: All House Democrats have signed our discharge petition to extend the ACA tax credits.

That makes 214.

We can protect health care and lower costs — if only 4 Republicans will join us.

Purity tests don't work in a democracy. There are 535 members of Congress who all want their own things. You can't govern without compromise. Throwing a tantrum and refusing to vote because you didn't get 100% of what you wanted ensures you lose.
December 3, 2025 at 5:09 PM
Exactly!

With ALL of this going on a majority of ⚪️voters still said they wanted more republicans in office.

Everything is awful in this country but folks are still talking about Democrats and their messaging?

Ummm…what’s your wallet saying?

Nobody needs to be spoon fed.

Stop telling me about Democratic leadership when it’s Y’ALL that keep enabling republicans.

What part of this is hard for you and why can’t you grasp this is not a flex. It actually proves our point.

The Cheney family had enough sense to know how dangerous the orange demon is and used their platform to say it. They openly admitted they don’t agree with Dems on most policy issues but the
Saying Harris would be progressive while she toured with Cheney is an interesting take. Either way, vote, vote Dem, if they side with corporations over the people, primary them and vote another Dem in, should be the way forward.

All 214 House Democrats support legislation to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits.

We only need 4 House Republicans to join us.

And we can save healthcare for tens of millions of Americans.

Some of us do believe people we perceive to be outside of our groups. Black people sure as hell believed 🍊.

I hear what you're saying about persuasiveness though. Proximity to power can equal influence in some ways. Interesting graphic I ran across recently.

The biggest problem woth heavy left thinking is they believe they can fix inequality with economic policies and that is a misguided lie. You have to address systemic racism first. If not, you will still have inequality.
You missed the entire point because you don’t want to call the thing a thing.

Biden was the most progressive POTUS since LBJ. Harris was going to follow his lead.

From walking picket lines to increasing wages, to opportunities for homes and education…the majority of y’all rejected that in 2024.
Miss Aja, I’ve been voting for the democratic nominee since the early 90s, including Hilary and Kamala, and here we are. Point is, just voting democrat is not the answer. Voting for democrats with economic policies for the majority of Americans is the way forward.

Baaaaaaby that man told y’all affordability is a Democratic scam.

Damn you wanting things like affordable groceries and the ability to turn on your heat. It’s a scam! 💀😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀😩

l will never forgive this country for re-electing him.

Goes back to the Know-Nothings from before the Civil War—at least. There’s such a strong strain of willed ignorance and hatred for the Other in this country. And it just goes on and on and on.
