Biggest open goal for him to change public perception and he wiffed it in the most predictable way possible.

After the success of Interview With The Vampire any smart TV exec ought to be looking into the possibility of a tv adaption of The Great and Secret Show.

Genuinely fascinated by the mind that sees 1066 in terms of a British win/loss ratio.

Like people say "the movie passes the Bechdal test but it's not feminist at all so the test is bad."

The point isn't that passing the "test" makes the movie feminist. It's that most movies still struggle to think of women as complete people and not a man's accessory.

Speaking purely from a pragmatic perspective, it is also a tactically unpopular opinion to draw a line in the sand over, especially with Ukraine's fate still up in the air. I can genuinely see a great many voters teetering on going over to the greens and this one thing discouraging that.

I played 2.0 this year after being disappointed with Ares and it was incredible. I love the fact that it was a bit of a soft imsim but you're right that it expands the original films idea that beings within the grid are 'programs' with intended roles, that the sequels basically ignored.

T23D 5 minutes in: We've made a fully anamatronic prop of a prototype version of the Terminator endoskeleton and it will be presented in full motion to the audience.

T23D 20 minutes in: Here is the T-One Billion. It looks like a Quake boss.

It is wild how 3D starts deadly seriously and then partway thought you have stuff like 'we were roommates'

From cyberpunk deaths are born cyberpunk life. We are the fertiliser from which the next world will grow upon, for better or worse.

There's a world where we did no Way Home and went "well! We did that! Now to work on something new instead of milking that idea to the grave!" and i have to wonder how that world turned out.
