A problem with 40k and many tabletop settings is that a lot of the spin off novels and games are about exceptions to the rule, until they become so popular that they replace the rule. See also: the Drow, the Gith, the Grey Knights.

The Imperial Guard in 40k should be so much worse than it's portrayed as and it's only because of pure cowardice that it's portrayed as heroic and self-sacrificing. They'd be worse than the IJA in the Pacific or Mainland China in the 30's and 40's.

One thing I love about HBO's Rome is that they never forget how fundamentally superstitious the Romans were. Caesar, a great political and military mind, bases his decision to keep Pullo and Vorenus around purely because he believes the gods favor them and he wishes not to make the gods his enemies.

Look, I'm aware Marshal Bo is well known for his difficult relationship with the truth. But when it gets this ridiculous...
Imagine being the person so bent out of shape about extra women, you just start lying to people about basic check-able facts.
(There are metal posters on Displate also)

Bo claims that GW have removed all the female custodes merch from the online store as part of his proof they have been removed.

A quick search for tithes shows a t-shirt with the fem-custodes featured on the merch store.
