Newcastle says no to fascism.

The far right brought a hundred or so with them, bussed from far and wide. This city turned out 1000s, from local communities, estates and streets. Geordies of all backgrounds coming together and outnumbering the purveyors of hate by some distance.

Newcastle united.

Take the money you would spend on creating, implementing, and analysing this test and use it to just give every single Year 7 kid a free £10 book token so they can buy something that they're interested in, you data-obsessed ghouls.

Don’t buy “smart” appliances that don’t need to be “smart”, unless you enjoy (a) being shown ads, (b) being pushed towards subscriptions, (c) having your data harvested, & (d) taking on an extra job/hobby dealing with more tech problems

On the plus side, I find people finally seem to have shut up about their air fryers in the last six months or so, so that's a positive at least

How many other teenage comic covers at the time were referencing: tyrannosauri, old Hollywood sex comedies, the drummer from The Beatles and somebody completely battered making a Face Time call to the Feds?
Go on, name one other!

Christopher H Bidmead : a warm, engaging and hugely intelligent man who enjoyed putting the cat among the pigeons on interviews. In real life though, he was approachable and kind: and made the nicest coffee I’ve ever had. Here is is at home in Dec 2013 when he kindly asked me round.
RIP Chris x
