So now @albomp.bsky.social has folded to injudicious & wickedly socially divisive demands for a premature federal royal commission, how to avoid compromising the entirely proper investigations & subsequent legal/court processes that are one of the pillars of our democracy? We can’t.
I’m still amazed that the sub judice aspect has been ignored in the rolling media campaign for a Bondi royal commission.

So now @albomp.bsky.social has folded to injudicious & wickedly socially divisive demands for a premature federal royal commission, how to avoid compromising the entirely proper investigations & subsequent legal/court processes that are one of the pillars of our democracy? We can’t.
And criminals don’t care about the rule of law. We’re just not used to a so called democracy and self proclaimed “leader of the free world” being so blatant about it.
(Just remember - Trump and his support don’t care about being hypocrites)

Of course, the Liberal Party could consider selecting, endorsing and even supporting sane reasonable electable candidates, maybe even, or maybe especially, women. Just a thought, after all, every democracy needs a strong opposition to hold government to account. #insiders

Here’s a use for AI: replace David Speers on #ABCInsiders with an AI bot which could just as ineffectively ask the same “gotcha” questions again and again and again as Speers is of Chris Bowen. Or replace him with someone who doesn’t waste so much interview time! #insiders

Twenty five years ago, #agedcare packages were relatively easy to get, an assessment within a week or so and then a package. Aged care now seems to be an administrative mess. Why is this so hard now?
