Does anyone actually know how to find out when and where protests are happening? I live in the north of England and the only ones I ever see anything about pre-protest are in London, but they definitely happen up north too. It's driving me a little insane trying to find any information

Is anyone else's phone constantly sending them notifications to start using their AI assistant to deal with your notifications and everything else that you can just naturally do on a phone with ease? Or is it just Google that are realising that no one wants to use Gemini?

If you're looking for a place to do some work, the public library is like a coffeeshop where you don't need to buy anything and there's a lot more space and you can stay as long as you like and you don't get any coffee.

To add on: What use is there to fight, to struggle, to barely get by, if there is nothing left to fight for. If humanity dies, if art dies, what was the battle for? Life is nothing without meaning, and meaning is nothing without creation.
Just a reminder to everyone who feels like their passions are a waste of time with everything going on in the world - art has and will be political, and many a time is an important aspect of revolution. i avoid commenting on celebrity passings due to the parasociality of the thing but David Lynch was an artist’s artist and a reminder to never explain yourself (when you don’t want to). one of the greatest filmmakers to ever do it.

I'm simply too numb to express the pain I feel from the loss of David Lynch. He will be missed for years to come. His work is a shrine to the man he was. I hope he can rest now in peace, he truly deserves it. Thank you for all you've created, and all you brought to the world.

Currently have some form of head injury and it is sucking dick, I am struggling to talk so bad and it's so frustrating I'm so glad that the people in my life are so understanding and helpful about it like I can't imagine going through this with people being mean about it

I have already used this app more than I ever used twitter because twitter is so shit and this is like.. actually nice? I still prefer other formats of social media but hey at least here I'm not immediately introduced to a bunch of right wing assholes upon making an account
