Just finished Tombs of Atuan, Ursula K. Le Guin. Earthsea is so beautiful and unlike anything I've ever read before. Favourite quote,

"The sea spoke forever, but it's language was foreign to her."

Grace, she hold many guises
A face with unknown surprises
Out in open air or hidden away
Courage is her hand, her play
Honour and credit, her prizes

Story time! Wonderful to get the author's perspective on both their own novel and classic. 1984 was the first adult dystopian fiction book I ever read and I was amazing to hear it revisited and taken forward with these insights into Julia by Sandra Newman.

Whoops, I tripped... And it just fell into my basket.

But seriously, I can't wait to read An Ember in Ashes. Heard nothing but wonderful things via my book club.

That classic feeling when you go on holiday but all you can think about is you cat, alone at home, staring melancholy into a rain streaked window... 💧🐈
