I will keep this in mind to check on next year (or early in 2026, depending on finances).

Because a variety of tiny jams. In tiny jars.
How can one not feel better* afterwards?

*assuming no MCAS, for enjoying old jams.
Obviously you need the new stuff.

Skunks deserve more love than that. They’re cute little guys, and as long as we give them space, everything’s usually cool.

A new dx is a lot to cope with.

In my experience, even when one proved helpful, it first shook up my world.

Quark in this window, with the wintry cold beyond, is a visually restful sight.

Thanks for both the lovely cat and composition.

I haven’t been seeing the drama posts. But I am on the waitlist to migrate, because it seemed like a safer place run by folks who are less capricious/vindictive and who align more with my values.

Do you think I might be making a mistake?

I don’t understand preferring your child starve to death rather than transition.

That’s sick, and that should be the framing of any article about this guy.

Thank you so much!

Sufjan covered this? Gotta go find that right away, thank you!

Would they be willing to share it?

I love you and am so glad you’re in this world, shining fierce and bright. 💖

It’s cinema, not amateur porn.

…the kids* are not okay.

I used to respect your journalism and believe you were worth supporting.

But that was when you had integrity. “Unusual”? Really?

I’m so glad you’re covering the show again this year!

Also losing it slightly at “Temu Hozier.”

I’m a freelance editor, and end up having to gently encourage business clients out of using 5-paragraph structure and elementary persuasive technique for their blog posts.

We tend to use what was drilled into us. Even after we’re aware of other options, it takes work to form new habits.

Thank you! You're certainly not wrong about the prevalence of racism and domestic violence—it honestly shocks me when people aren't aware how often law enforcement members incline in those directions.

Also: lot of long reviews aren’t that good.

Common issues:

•Full of untagged spoilers
•The reviewer uses a checklist of questions they’ve made (or found) for reviewing books in general, then answers each question in, at best, a sing-song school–book report format
•Rambling

Saw it once willingly (Kate Winslet fan, & I’d been to a museum exhibit about the actual Titanic and found it interesting). Was underwhelmed, although many of my peers enjoyed it.

Right. It would be a very different story with wildly different characters.

This is really good, Brooke. It’s bruising, gritty, and graphic.
