CNN: “An older couple making $85K/year will see their yearly insurance premiums jump from $7K to $25,000 — 30% of their income.” 😳#TrumpShutdown #TrumpHealthCareTax

This is what Dems are drawing attention to and want fixed. Now, not later.

Lancet editorial asks ‘why do racism& discrimination matter to science &medicine?’ and gives reasons. But do we even need to justify? They matter because we’re humans. Needing to justify is kind of part of the problem of silence. Resisting them is everybody’s lane.

#Israel justifies bombing #Gaza hospitals by claiming they're 'shielding' Hamas. Instead of #IDF proving this, they're turning the law on its head, trying to make people in the field disprove this, says @msf.ca

Thousands of civilians killed.
Food, water, and aid weaponised.
Gaza reduced to rubble.
These are red lines, which the Israeli gvmt continues to cross.
The UK gvmt must take action now to avoid complicity in these atrocities. SHARE to amplify. #RedLineForGaza

In a digital world, talking to sensitive sources is nearly impossible without encryption. The EU’s #ChatControl plan is an attack on accountability journalism - and a gift to surveillance

The good news: we can pretty much stop the biodiversity crisis and give a massive contribution to dealing with climate change if we moved to a healthy diet. And it would save millions of human lives beside that.

How can policies to help it be contentious?
