The model of the internet we were given is not the model we deserve and is most beneficial to humanity. It has categorically been a net negative. Profit driven engagement is ruining/has ruined? society. What a drag. There IS a better way. I worry if it's even possible anymore.

I'm convinced; the greatest threat of AI generated media is going to be propaganda designed by the powerful to convince us to hate each other and use that anger to stay in power. It's already become alarmingly easy to create and difficult to spot even the most benign examples. It will get worse.

This is terrifying in America. ICE agents are showing up masked—these abductions must stop. If you’re going to detain someone, show your face, present a warrant, and proper ID. Disappearing people from their families without evidence or accountability isn’t law enforcement—it’s state-sponsored fear.
