My tabletop fantasy dyad, Crescent and Exile, is now available for preorder at the Mythworks store. 🖤 www.myth.works/pages/cresce...

All orders (along with crowdfunding rewards) will be shipping in November. Stay tuned. 🌜💫⚔️
Two hardcover books. Left book reads "CRESCENT 2E: Feelings-Delving Role-Playing" and depicts five children running away from a dinosaur. The mood in the picture is light-hearted, playful, and fantastic. The right book reads "EXILE: Dark Fantasy Role-Playing" and depicts a winged figure thrusting a blood-soaked blade out of a horned monster. The mood is mysterious, emotional, and fierce.

"Chladni figures" from 1787 created by German physicist and musician Ernst Chladni, showing nodal patterns made by drawing a bow along the edge of a sand-covered plate. More here: https://publicdomainreview.org/collection/chladni-figures-1787

sooo cute. out of curiosity, what’s that little blue square to the left of the desk? :o

frame tvs are crazy. my first thought was that that’s what it was but i thought it had to be a real frame because it doesn’t look like a screen at all haha

Ah, and they're serious about sources / historiography, which seems to be something you want to be in consideration

I adore Weird Medieval Guys. It's a pretty informal / rambly podcast, but they explore the medieval world from a anthropological angle that's usually not as highlighted in other history pods. Goldmine of little anecdotes and trivia

😭😭😭 You're so sweet Tanya. Rest assured it's probably inescapable that I keep at it, if only for fun (in fact, hopefully I only do it for fun someday)

If I had a penny for every time I've said 'I'm quitting for good' only to come back at it eventually 😅…not discrediting their choice of course, but y'know! Best wishes as well.

I went on an episode of WRTA and had a lovely chat with Alex :-) We talked about asymmetric design, interrogating player behaviour through playtesting, and whatever in the world is happening on 5E's Dungeon Master's Guide. 🎲

A few weeks ago @charliehall.bsky.social wrote an opinion piece on @polygon.com saying indie #TTRPG designers shouldn’t be wringing our hands when it comes to our games as #D&D fumbles the bag.

So here it is. The Get Loud TTRPG Bundle. 36 games from 20 designers.

Painting of a dragon vomiting dice with rough textured text that say “Introducing the GET LOUD tabletop rpg bundle, 20 creators, 36 games, $344 in value, $20, Feb 1st to Feb 28th”

Happy year of the snake! In Korea the snake was the god of fertility, abundance, fortune and happiness, and represented immortality, regeneration. We grow heirloom Korean peppers on the roof and save the seeds to plant each year, a cycle of regeneration, fertility and abundance. 새해 복 많이 받으세요!

Night Bloom, two views. This was created in Kato Polyclay, a very strong clay, with gem-stone eyes. And it found the most magical home, lucky Being!
