Having held my mom’s hand last year as she took her last breath, I imagined I’d be more prepared to hold Oona in my arms as she took hers. We brought her home less than a month before we got married in 2013.

Chris Pine and Alan Tudyk should work together more often. This link surfaced today as a Facebook memory, and it was one of those times when I couldn’t recall what it was about by looking at the thumbnail image, but it’s as good as a reminder as any about election day coming up.
Nothing else about working from the office today was worthwhile, but this lunch was. ZZQ isn’t cheap, but it’s cheaper at the office.

Overhearing a cleaning staff member at work trying to convey something in Spanish to a non-speaker sent me down a Spanish rabbit hole. She was frustrated trying to translate “Diciembre es falta poquito” and now I’ve learned one new useful Spanish word and how to say “almost here.”
