I'm so immensely thankful it's not a shock collar, I was having a miserable time knowing that without proof it's unwise to claim "abuser!"/"not abuse!" either way while dreading-yet-preparing to wage utter war if it was proven a shock collar.

So glad it's not, I'm so thankful when a doggo is okay.

...so I DON'T jump the gun to claim things I can't prove. My dogs have yelped spontaneously before while entering/exiting their crates. Toes can snag, that hurts. It's a doggo stubbed toe, it doesn't prove a shock collar, we'd need more evidence to prove that, and Hasan just proved otherwise.

I got screamed at/argued with (including by one weirdo who sexually harassed my) on Twitter for refusing to condemn him without knowing what the collar's make was, and I'm really glad I stuck to my guns. Animal abuse is serious business to me, but that means I treat the allegations with severity...

I still remember the first reported death from the cuts. It was an elderly woman in Thailand who needed supplemental oxygen. Funds were cut, she lost her care, and days later, she was dead.

Using finances to deny people healthcare is murder.

It's really not. I'm trans and disabled. Our rights movements came a few decades after racial civil rights, but while things got better after, Imani's frustration is (rightly) with *contemporary* attitudes, because boy howdy, do folks not get it and it's EXHAUSTING to constantly have to explain...
