Capitulation to the current regime is cowardice. The Smithsonian Institution is the most egregious cowardice of all, as it has literally embodied our national history. Not so much anymore. I'm in tears.

they act like the activists who got assaulted at the woolworth's counter were just joe and jane blow who walked in off the streets. those people were *trained*. they had to be to respond to utter bigotry without punching the fuck out of those guys and instead just sitting and taking it.
