The government is saying that violence rules. That snatching foreign leaders and territories, and shooting US citizens in their cars at point blank range, is justified. That resistance is not only futile, it is dangerous. They can say these things. But they cannot force us to believe them.

There are only three possible outcomes for undocumented immigrants in this country: mass deportation, amnesty, or legal limbo (i.e., status quo for last 40 years). The first causes violence in communities and harassment of citizens. The third quietly ruins people's lives, as opportunities pass them.

A reminder that the US killed 80 people in Venezuela, and it would be nice if the US media cared enough to think that the life of a grandmother in Caracas whose building is destroyed by a US bomb matters as much as the life of a person in the US.

There is no stress like my mother on Christmas Eve waiting for my sister’s dog to arrive and putting a baby gate on the stairs at 10:30pm because she can’t fathom letting that dog go upstairs for even a moment.

I just saw an influencer post a video of herself 11 hours postpartum going to take a shower and promoting all of the products she was using and…I think we’ve lost our way, folks. The influencers have gone too far. We need to stop buying their promoted crap because we’re encouraging this insanity.

I’m a little pissed at jasmine Crockett for running for senate instead of backing James Talarico who has been running an excellent campaign. This is why we can’t have nice things, y’all always ruin it by being greedy. You’re as bad as the 70yo’s who won’t give up power. TX can’t afford this mess.

Spotify wrapped day is my least favorite day all year. I don’t want to steal from anyone’s joy (there’s so little of it in the world), but as a person who doesn’t use Spotify or even really listen to much music, I find the nonstop posts about it overstimulating. (Aka annoying—sorry it’s true).

Thank you to the United States Postal Service for losing my new drivers license in the mail AND ruining Christmas because I am receiving exactly zero mail including Christmas cards. Y’all are the literal worst.
