Interesting to see FG TDs lambasting toxic social media influencers when they will do absolutely ZERO to regulate the social media companies!
So saying stuff and doing nothing as per usual #RTEUpfront

I actually can't get over this. How dare the government put the teacher's, principle, kids and parents in this position. This wouldn't happen in foxrock
Sacred Heart Junior School in Killinarden has written to parents saying it faces operating remotely from April 1

Yet we subsidise Private Schools 140m per year
ALWAYS the kids in Tallaght left behind
This is absolutely disgraceful
I have been contacted by a number of parents of kids at Sacred Heart Schools in Killinarden today regarding the critical lack of funding for the schools.

Adam - SpiceBag - Doyle came to public attention because of this (controversial?) depiction of a Famine-era eviction being carried out by modern day private security and our own Garda.
But his latest work outside of the #EchoChamberPod hasn’t made headlines. Why not?

I don’t ever say this lightly about women as I know the struggles to get anywhere in a patriarchal society - but tis Creann Comhairle is both partisan and incompetent- she is not fit for the office #speirgorm
The Ceann Comhairle is under real pressure now to assert her authority. Whatever way you break it down, it has been a bad morning for her and the incoming Government, writes Mícheál Lehane

The only solution is to split all of the parties into technical groups of five people. Each group has one thing in common. They only get speaking rights if they can figure out what it is. If they fail, one of them goes into a Saw device until next Leader’s Questions

If the lads in the RIG are not prepared to take responsibility for being in government, and want instead to try pretend they are not, then they should withdraw and join the opposition benches as genuine opposition TDs.

It is an obvious nonsense - they are government TDs.

Get on with it.

It's very simple to understand - can you imagine the outcry Martin and Harris would lead if Sinn Féin attempted to be in power and in opposition at the same time?
Lowry (a convicted criminal, no less) and his lackeys ARE the government - accept that, and move on. #speirgorm

We really, really, really need to fix the dysfunctional and far too cosy relationship between journalism and politics in Ireland. I want party leaders to be on edge every time they see me, not sizing me up for a job with them.
Meanwhile, confirmation today that Sunday Times political editor Hugh O'Connell, will join the government press office.

I can't imagine what it must feel like to not want to send your kid to school cos ICE might come for them. Or not make it home from work cos ICE might come for you. This is terrifying
