Turkey went in 5 minutes later than planned because a) not quite enough prep yesterday--multiple trips back and forth--and an incompletely removed turkey neck, obscuring access to the front pocket, and had to be cut and sawed back.

Time to make eggnog pumpkin pie in a cookie crust!
Once upon a time I had an oven thermometer, little metal thing with a direct mechanical pointer to temp, that would hang from an oven rack, and give me the interior temp. Easy to read. Not "electronic" in any way. I used it in several rentals, different stove ovens, worked like a charm.

They were sacrificed. Trump was hoping for this very thing in order to enact his martial law. He may not have chosen them, but he intended it to happen to someone in the military or ICE. He didn't care who, just like he didn't care who was killed the day they staged the "assassination attempt".

Indeed. But with a CinC who wants a shooting incident so he can have an excuse to impose martial law...and since he believes soldiers' lives are his to dispose of with a shrug of "they knew what they signed up for..." deaths are inevitable.

Progress...the pumpkin pie has been in a little over an hour, but this oven's setting is always a bit off, and it's a deep pie, so it's not done yet.
