The vampire book is done. 2 years, drawn out by tragedy and health crises. Maybe that’s the crucible in which a vampire novel is best made. If so, I hope this is my only one.

The big pieces are all in place. The machete has returned to its lair. Now is the time of the scalpel. Last clean up edits and hopefully submission by the end of the weekend.
