I'm alive today because of the ACA. Forever grateful Mr. President.
Thanks for sharing your story, Rebecca. Protecting folks with pre-existing conditions – like your son – was important to us. And it’s why we have to continue working hard to protect and build on the foundation of the ACA, too.
Before ACA my son was denied coverage because of “preexisting conditions”. When ACA was established his medical conditions were all covered. I’m thankful every day insurance companies are no longer allowed to deny coverage. Thank you President Obama. (He was a baby when this all happened)

Watching mainstream TV news the past couple of days has been genuinely shocking. The wealthiest person in the world has taken control of the government’s payments system and they’re still doing endless segments on Groundhog Day and Super Bowl recipes.

Aspiration is the answer. Not just “we’re not the bad guys.”
