I saw that too. Plus you'd be on your feet for hours on end and future you would be bummed by limited mobility and lack of flexibility.

had a brief moment of irritation that the Panda Express is hiring at the same pay rate I get as a pharmacy intern and then I thought “what if working at the pharmacy but every prescription was sticky and had a smell” and now I just think we should both get paid more

Oooh you have hit my achilles heel. I've been boycotting and encouraging others to do so for that exact reason.
Plus killing perfectly functioning local businesses and communities.
They, among others, are truly part of the problem!!! (grrr)

Then you have other states that have higher levels of one or more of these taxes to help their state thrive, but have to have money go to the Feds that in turn supports the programs of the poor people in those states. It’s just like Walmart not paying enough and its staff being on SNAP etc.

Illogical. Running a state should have basic requirements, like taxes for a social safety net.
I was talking about this the other night. Why is it states can not have property taxes, or income tax, or super low sales tax or business tax etc. to entice people to live there. Then they don’t have money to run their state, schools, offer programs to build up people etc. and the Feds have to help.

Newsom remains one of the few democrats willing to take a meaningful stand against Trump and his machinations, purely for the benefit of his constituents.
