Like...a bottom-up social media that was regional only within a certain range would probably be ideal. Or even a toggle where you can switch between friends/regional/national in your feed. Might even help local/state news stay relevant to many people who only focus on national news as well.

You'd basically need a PBS of social media AND have people genuinely interested in it. In a world where some of you folks like you/Nebula, some types of higher end celebrities or politicians could collaborate to create one without it coming off purely for profit while also not being boring...

It's possible, but it would take new algorithms not solely focused on profit/drama and maybe some that focus more on your local/state than national/international issues. To a degree, FB first starting out only for college people was a somewhat "right" choice.

Literally anything at all, but you can start with stuff like this. Jeffries, for example, refused to even whip his caucus to vote down this last spending bill, and seven Dems defected. The very least they can do is keep their party in line and they can't even do that, let alone offense.
This is the way. Any 2028 Dem candidates need to start saying that on Day One: (1) all ICE agents fired; (2) pensions/benefits defunded; (3) forced to pay backpay as restitution to victims; and (4) only way to avoid prison is to become a cooperating informant
Maybe instead of identifying specific ICE agents who do particularly heinous things, we could just penalize everyone who was on payroll at the agency starting by a certain date.

Worse, they assaulted one civilian and he was just trying to de-escalate the situation and shield her. If he was trying to be aggressive he would have done it here, not while being assaulted by a group of officers.

For every voter you might lose for not liking Forrest Gump, you can pick up 3 for naming which 80's action movies you love. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dI2Z...
