I don’t factor in speed at all when thinking of the term “all ages and abilities”. I think much more about how and if my 7 year old can use it safely.

I think they can be refilled at water vending machines, so they might not be the sort of thing that people get rid of quickly, unfortunately.

My in laws used them during the summer drought, and I believe they refilled at their local grocery store.

Some grocery stores have these for reverse osmosis water vending machines; but I assume you have to pay for the water too?

Agreed. AAA has lost all meaning here (and other places).

Very little of what we have in #BikeHfx would be CAN-BICS “high comfort”, which is really what we need for modal shift.

Just in time for the next round of snow, I guess?

S says: he would like to carry a hotdog wherever he goes on his bike.

I say he’s probably not the only one, and this would be a highly desirable Kidical Mass Halifax prize!

You have far more hope here than I do. I’d love to see this fail, for the sake of transit riders.

I’m absolutely flabbergasted by the extent to which Austerity Andy hates Haligonians, especially our smallest ones.

The only no votes were from Austin, Cleary, Morse, Steele, and White

Everyone else voted to get a staff report on how they can kill more people on Halifax streets.

Anguish says what’s dragging down the program, delaying the network & driving up cost is constant redirection from council!!

Cleary “ we are going to spend more to repave roads this year than we will spend on bike lanes in the next five years”

I know it doesn't work like that, but this made me briefly imagine a world in which Megan Leslie is currently the mayor of Halifax. And wouldn't that be grand?!

I would guess that clothing purchases mighr be comparable to veterinary services (total yearly spend) for my family.

Food, shelter and transportation are much bigger sums in this household though.

That waiting spot is soooo uncomfortable with large motor vehicles (most vehicles).

I said 'yes', of course. But only because he's already seen your episode. 🤣
