Hazelnuts, like pecans, are a great choice for nuts compared with almonds. Grown mostly in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, they are a sustainable crop that uses little irrigation water. And they are delicious. This holiday season, put pecans and hazelnuts on your table and in your kitchen.

How we address the polycrisis and migrations from climate, social and political disasters is the mark of how we evolve as humans. I love to see stories like this. Using nature to heal, integrating our lives with caring for and embracing Nature is what we need to be doing.

Sadly people have been so wrapped around the false understanding and pursuit of luxury, rather than understanding that NATURE IS our luxury. And so we watch the growing of natural disasters. We MUST DO MORE to balance. The solutions have been there for years.
Ten years after the Paris Agreement, nations are still falling short of their commitments to reduce emissions and mitigate climate change.

More than that, they haven’t shown enough follow-through on the goals they set. Instead, it’s been cities and local governments that have taken the lead.
As the nations lag on climate action, cities across the world step up
A new report documents how local communities are becoming more livable and sustainable.
