They could go on a while yet. Elton John famously announced a Final/Farewell gig in Wembley Arena in 1977 then somehow found himself playing a further 3,519 concerts from then until 2024.

Great choice, one of my all-time favourites.

I'm having a great time looking at all the details. Especially the figure/statue above Patrick O'Grady's premises!

St Patrick's Day makes sense all right given the crowd and the flags. Looks like a dry one. When do you reckon this was? 1940's / early 1950s maybe?

Nothing wrong with the list at all. Some lovely sounding spots. I just have a bee in my bonnet about their Dublin (and occasionally West Cork) focus.

I was only down a rabbit hole at lunchtime about Neil Youngs 1993 gig in Slane Castle with Booker T and the MGs as his backing band. Phenomenal gig, phenomenal guitarist. RIP.

I once uncovered my mothers clearout treachery on the shelves at a school sale of work and retaliated by buying them all again.
Which reminds me I picked up this Glen Campbell record the same day and I still listen to it. 50p well spent.
