After about a week of being here, I should introduce myself: a resident of Vancouver, birder, and retired a couple years ago.

When I read about the prices charged by the big chain stores, I'm glad I shop at Famous Foods, a fixture in Vancouver for 95 years. There's so much to love: great service and prices, helpful and pleasant staff, and a generous rewards plan. (No, I don't work for them.)

When I read about the prices charged by the big chain stores, I'm glad I shop at Famous Foods, a fixture in Vancouver for 95 years. There's so much to love: great service and prices, helpful and pleasant staff, and a generous rewards plan. (No, I don't work for them.)

Even MAGAs are starting to realize it's got nothing to do with a person's criminal history or whether they entered the US legally.

I suspect the real reason Trump is threatening to pull out of the Canada-Mexico-US trade agreement is because Carney and Sheinbaum haven't offered to pay Trump protection money. I prefer we let it lapse, or risk being complicit with his regime's murderous behaviour.
