Looks like the continual PC Game Pass rises reached breaking point for my dad who, after 1257 hours playing No Man's Sky @nomansbsky.bsky.social on the service, has finally bought it on Steam.

The Xbox app has a surprising new definition of Ubisoft games.

"Ubisoft+ Classics" says the title; the games include Call of Duty: Warzone, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Forza Horizon 5, Grounded 2 and Oblivin Remastered. None of these are Ubisoft games.

Wouldn't normally go in for limited edition controllers or consoles, but some months ago I must have been feeling pretty nostalgic and this fun thing showed up yesterday. Love the original style packaging too!

Not sure I agree with all the categorisations here, but this is certainly a collection of very-me games, having played most of them. Each logo conjuring up a particular puzzle, sometimes with cold sweats.

This is nicely timed as I actually finished Öoo this evening, having absolutely loved its puzzles and minimalism, just as I did ElecHead before it. Highly recommended by me, but better described in this Thinky Games review. Hope it gets a Switch release and a wider audience.

It is cheaper to buy Metroid Prime 4 on Switch and the Switch 2 upgrade pack separately than the default option of together. Someone at Nintendo can't add up.

That brings back so many memories, used to have a pile of those in a cupboard in my bedroom. The magazine is up at archive.org/details/offi... and that demo and the accompanying review are why I got my pocket money advanced for 10 weeks so I could buy MGS at launch

Having got a new battery for it earlier this year, I finally got around to getting a new charger for my European launch PSP, so I can celebrate its 20th(!) anniversary. And that means returning to the game I got with it, the wonderful Lumines.
