A little hole-in-the-wall sub shop in Wooster, OH called "Hero House". It was near an old office my wife and I both worked, and good lord have I never had a better philly steak sub. On the occasional Friday evening after work we'd pick a couple up to take home, and they always hit the spot.

Well @shezcrafti.com, the verdict is in, after making it last night. I liked it, my wife didn't, and my daughter (the sometimes picky eater) loved it. I guess it'll just have to be a meal for the Gremlin and me on occasion, lol.

I just saw the Mark Ruffalo interview at the Golden Globes, and good lord, I love that man. Plus he was boss in Zodiac (2007), what a performance.

In the wake of MTV, I still think the most overly-convoluted music video of all-time, was Cyndi Lauper's "The Goonies 'R' Good Enough". I mean we had had Cyndi, a gas station, early 80's WWF stars, The Goonies, and apparently sushi chefs. There was a lot happening in that one, lol.

I forgot to mention my wife made homemade cheesecake over the weekend. Apparently she just used cream cheese, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla, and for the crust, just like sugar, butter, and crushed cereal or something. We've still got about half of it left, and that makes me happy.

Yesterday's dip came out pretty tasty as usual. Wife picked up the stuff at the store so we'd have a nice snack, but after I made it, ended up being really the only thing I ate yesterday, lol. Hooray for snack foods!

$2.75 at Aldi, we might have to give that a spin. We still have some frozen Costco spring rolls that would pair nicely, as well as with some rice and such. Could be a cheap dish for weekly meal prepping, and I'm sure we have chicken in the freezer.

Dunkaroos might not be a bad snack idea for the Gremlin. Also my wife recently has stopped buying Doritos, we got the giant mega bag from Costco a few months ago, and after much insistence (from me) that we all should finish them, I think it burned her out, lol 😆
