Pop-culture nerd, horror-fiend, animal lover, proud atheist, & taco enthusiast. Girl-dad. I go hard in the 4th quarter. All thoughts expressed my own.
Had to go on a mute-fest this morning, for anyone I was following complaining about it being down, like any of us care. Way to out yourselves, suckas.

I was thinking just recently of revisiting My Blue Heaven. I haven't seen it in ages.

I didn't hate it, for what it's worth

About 45 minutes in, we finally reached the "horror" portion of this movie I guess. Real "I am Legend" vibes.

I mean so far, this has shades of like, The Thing, with 28 Days Later, and things are happening, and people are acting, and yet, it's just boring? I'll keep watching, but I'm not feeling like this will turn into anything that special.

Gotta do the Trailer Park boys next then, eh?

I worked a trade show in Vegas awhile back, and the neighboring booth was from Canada, and it was legit the only thing those two guys talked about with me that week.

Him and Jeffries just both consistently continue to make my skin crawl, with how both are just so absolutely out of touch, and in the pocket of corporations. Worthless, they are.

Yeah. Her old pair broke, and she's been wearing contacts that she got like five years ago or so (but never used), so she's anxious for her new pair.

I'm just learning this was originally a "made-for-TV" film, and boy does it show. So far I dig all the snowing and skiing and such (and a surprise visit from "Juno" in Beetlejuice), but it's mostly just folks standing around talking, like real soap opera stuff, and very little actual "Snowbeast"
