Let’s not forget that earlier today, this day was known as “we cannot build bananas in America” day. That is, until everything went bananas
DEAN: What's the tariff on bananas?

LUTNICK: Generally 10%

DEAN: Walmart has already increased the cost of bananas by 8%

LUTNICK: If you build in America, there is no tariff

A huge step from HHS that is at odds with science showing significant risks for young children and pregnant women — and that directly contradicts *the FDA's own publication* from last week listing pregnancy as a high-risk condition that would qualify people for this fall's Covid vaccine

A video circulating on Reddit shows ICE officers wrestling a Hispanic construction worker to the ground while he repeatedly says that he is a US citizen.

He was reportedly detained for hours until he was eventually released.
His family said that ICE agents did release him after he was finally given the opportunity to prove he was a U.S. citizen—but only after many hours.

This construction site in Foley, Alabama was forced to shut down for at least the day. How many other businesses were affected?

In a world where anyone might be shipped to a foreign prison without a hearing, some advice if approached by ICE:
1. Don't say anything.
2. Don't sign anything.
3. Talk to a lawyer ASAP.

THIS!
The same people who say Adriana Smith should stay hooked up to machines so a fetus can gestate inside her dead body for 7 months because “it’s a sacrifice a mother would make” can’t fathom a mother crossing the border with her children in hopes of providing a better life for them.

This seems like a good time to remind everyone that, legally speaking, the "border" in which U.S. Customs and Border Protection claims jurisdiction extends 100 miles inland and covers two-thirds of the U.S. population.

Trump and Musk are putting the lives of firefighters at risk to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.

It’s just wrong.

Protect first responders. Fire Elon Musk.
Trump laid off almost everyone who investigates firefighter deaths.

Seven out of eight workers assigned to look into the deaths of firefighters were fired as two-thirds of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health were suddenly let go.

Grabbed at his appointment to become a citizen. Is this who we are? 😕🇺🇸

The bill would have criminalized even parents of trans kids driving through the state.
