This eloquent plea worked because in 1995 the GOP weren’t openly against kindness, truthfulness, respect for all living things, and children learning about science.
Crazy how long this conversation has been going on

Why are we debating whether he “covered up for bad priests?”

Has he done everything in his power to expose and eradicate the evil of child abuse woven into the fabric of the institution he leads?

The Church has murdered thousands of children and abused millions more. There are no bystanders.

Gerry Connolly’s stepping down after beating AOC for Oversight.

Maybe now we can let the wild idea of a smart, capable woman leading something happen?

Or is that still too scary for some folks?

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

Here's one statistic for you:

→ Net jobs created under Clinton and Obama: 33.8 million.
→ Net jobs created under Bush, Bush, AND Trump: 1.9 million.

That is not a typo.
Of Course Trump Will Tank the Economy. It’s What Republicans Do.
As the president’s “Liberation Day” nears, it’s time to liberate ourselves from the vicious cycle of Democrats having to clean up the GOP’s messes.

KEEP CALLING. PEEL OFF ALL DEM SENATORS YOU CAN.

☎️: (202) 224-3121

Tell them to vote NO on Cloture and NO on CR. Vote is pushed to after 1:15ish for now. Situation is fluid.

The only public YES votes are Schumer and Fetterman. They need 7-8 total. KEEP CALLING.

Call retiring Senators too!

Aka Dems could not muster 1% of the party to stand against tyranny. That’s handing over constitution without defending or protecting the constitution. That’s shameful. @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @schumer.senate.gov @whipkclark.bsky.social @schumer.senate.gov @klobuchar.senate.gov

Is there even a single accusation that is NOT a confession?

"…they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists..."

Just today, Sen. Padilla walked in after recess, called for unanimous consent to stop the quorum call, and then changed his "no" vote on Burgum's nomination to "yes".

So like every counterproductive thing possible. It's wild. There wasn't a quorum. I bet they could have adjourned for the day

I tuned into Real Time last night for a hot minute and they were discussing whether John Fetterman should be forced to wear pants in the senate chamber.

Just a reminder that the fire hose of reality you are being assaulted with here is not happening elsewhere.

Republicans propose taxing scholarships to pay for extending the 2017 Trump tax cuts for the rich.

So our brightest young people will subsidize the ruling class w/ income tax payments on money that went directly to the school they are attending. Sounds fair.
