Silly, strident, queer, neurosomething, opera, etc. Settler in Mi'kma'ki. You know me from that thing.
Nice! I have read a bit about infrasound before, or so I thought, but hadn't made the connection to simple household flaws like ungrounded wiring. (Haven't clicked your link yet, it's too late here for a rabbithole)

Or, never DON'T look ALL of the statues in the eye? Weeping Angel vibes off at least two

Wait what, what, wait

Were you sensing an electrical problem? Apologies if I'm missing an obvious thing here, this is a sincere question

Pretty sure they're not even playing one-dimensional chess (which I guess is just, like, pieces in a line, proceeding in order?)

That used to be what a cover was FOR! For Jackie I would absolutely pay a higher ticket price to get the venue off her/our backs.

(Also not unmasking, although I've had good results with a Sip mask so I don't have to get overheated and dehydrated!)

I suspect it explains a lot - but not all, like unless he's getting a sweet bonus from a misguided marketing dept he could just not do any of this

Feels like the communication style of a lot of comment section denizens - just insults like "grow up". Their opinions are not based on being FOR anything they can define, they're just AGAINST a perceived idealogical alignment. Pointless.

Has it been partially stripped off or is it... partially coming through

When I was little I liked to think it was that even though they were unremarkable on a population level her eyes were special to him by virtue of being hers

The reason CEOs think genAI is so capable of doing everyone's jobs is because literally the only job genAI has been able to do from the get go, and will possibly ever be able to completely do, is a CEOs job.

This is delightful?

Also omg I'm now worried for this too-credulous person. The mail is not delivered on Christmas! THAT'S NO MAILMAN DO NOT INVITE IT IN

One of the very silly talking points going around about ai is "what if you get writer's block so bad there's no way out? Shouldn't you turn to ai then instead of wasting all that effort you've already done? Do you just shelve it?"

YES, YOU JUST SHELVE IT.

FOR NOW.

YOU MAY SURPRISE YOURSELF.

Enough, clearly, unlike some

Wild how the "ideas guy" who doesn't want to think about implementation, won't answer questions about practicalities or specifics, has become the "AI guy".

Feels like this is all designed to save Peter Principle Guys just long enough to get rid of everyone who sees through them

Feels like a problem of no competent editor tbh, because such a person would say heyyyyy if the point is that there's a generic news article just let your reader know that in a way that advances character; don't make them read the actual article!
December 20, 2025 at 4:45 AM
Omg I haven't seen whatever this is about and I'm glad of it but hello? If there needs to be generic, boilerplatey text in your book NO THERE DOESN'T; at most a headline and let the reader, who has seen that sort of thing before, assume what follows with sufficient accuracy. Sheesh.
