When I first started RP'ing, back in 2015, I was told two rules. One, never blur IC and OOC together. Two, always communicate honestly. So imagine my surprise when the /majority/, and NOT the /minority/, of XIV's RP community break the first two rules, constantly, they had taught me years ago.
Communication in RP is so very important y'all. Always ask questions to make sure you understand something. Have in depth conversations with those you RP with to match the vibes. It is never annoying to check in. If anything, it shows the person you are RPing/hanging out with, that you care.
