Pippin’s hair has started coming in a lighter shade. I love the dark red, and I’m sure I’ll love whatever color his hair ends up next.

Must-see TV for Pippin

Pippin’s fur got matted, in part because he resists letting us comb his hair and in part because he likes wrestling with larger dogs, so he had to get a severe haircut yesterday. He’s smaller than we thought!

What a beauty! Pippin is getting better about being groomed, thank goodness (he’s 9 months old now).

Our first poodle was a miniature, named Kirby. He lived to be 14.
