Nia dua konkurso kromnomiĝas «nova talento». Per ĝi ni celas homojn, kiuj ankoraŭ ne estas spertaj tradukistoj. Necesos traduki When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, tre konata infanlibro pri infan-rifuĝanto, verkita de Judith Kerr surbaze de la propra infanaĝa sperto. #esperanto 3/5

Nia dua konkurso kromnomiĝas «nova talento». Per ĝi ni celas homojn, kiuj ankoraŭ ne estas spertaj tradukistoj. Necesos traduki When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, tre konata infanlibro pri infan-rifuĝanto, verkita de Judith Kerr surbaze de la propra infanaĝa sperto. #esperanto 3/5

Because one of the rules of the competition is that if your book won in one year, you can't enter another in the following. And we had published our translation of “The House at Pooh Corner” the year before, which justifiably won the competition. (Same prices as Alice, by the way.)

Three years ago today we launched what must surely be the most luxurious book in Esperantujo, our version of “La aventuroj de Alico en Mirlando”. For how much? Only 15 GBP, about 18 EUR / 20 USD. It never got to be the children's book of the year in #Esperanto, though. How come?
